You Have to Serve Somebody (Romans 6:15-23)

In this final message in Romans 6 we learn that obedience to Christ is essential for entrance into the Kingdom of God. While Paul focused our attention on how God had removed the penalty of sin in Romans 3-4, in Romans chapter six Paul focused our attention on how God removed the power of sin in the lives of those who belong to Christ by faith. Our big take away in this message is that the New Testament writers did not teach that we are free to sin under the New Covenant; instead, the New Testament writers taught that we have been freed from the bondage of sin in order to serve God from the heart. Come and hear why you should flee from sin and serve Christ and the righteous precepts of His Kingdom

About veldaville

A retired special education teacher with a Masters Degree in Education from Mount St. Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Was raised in an evangelical church but at age 20 joined Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God. After spending over 30 years in that cult, God opened my eyes to his truth and brought me back to the things I had learned when I was a youth. I believe that I was a Christian all along but because I was young and unlearned in the Scriptures, I fell prey to a religious cult. My ambition is, therefore, to proclaim Jesus Christ to all and especially to those who have been deceived by false teachers. My hope is that they may see the light and be saved from those who prey on their souls.
